Steve Parish Publishing embraces the principal of sustainable development, in which development meets the needs of the present without compromising the welfare of future generations.
Steve Parish Publishing is committed to conducting its operations in a manner that minimises environmental risk and adverse effects on the environment. The company strives to enhance its environmental performance by:
- • Using energy efficiently
- • Conserving water
- • Minimising use of, and recycling, waste paper, plastic, glass, metal etc
- • Preventing of pollution
- • Using paper materials that are sourced from plantation timbers
- • Offsetting fuel usage
Steve Parish Publishing commits itself to compliance with environmental legislation, regulations, standards and codes of practice applicable to the industry in which it operates, and will direct its business to suppliers and contractors who have a commitment to similar environmental values. We are currently working on our EPA Eco Biz program for compliance, with the aim of becoming carbon neutral.
Through communication and training, our employees and contractors will be encouraged and assisted to enhance their awareness of the impact that each of us has upon the fragile environment we too inhabit.
